Kryolan Fresh Scratch Blood Effect dark 20 ml Fast-drying blood paste for fresh wounds, scratches and abrasions Kryolan Fresh Scratch Dark is a fast-drying, solvent-free blood paste designed for realistic special effects. The light shade is especially suitable for fresh cuts, scratches, abrasions and broken-skin effects. Once dry, it retains a slight shine, helping the simulated wound continue to look fresh. The dark version is designed for older, dried or scabbed blood effects. Both shades can be combined to create different stages of an injury within one realistic SFX design. Realistic texture for film, theatre and SFX The viscous consistency can be layered and shaped for small scratches, textured wound edges and irregular scab effects. Kryolan describes Fresh Scratch as covering, colour-intensive, buildable, true to camera and durable. For coarse, irregular textures, apply it with the Kryolan Stubble Sponge Coarse. For older or more heavily scabbed effects, combine the light shade with Kryolan Fresh Scratch Dark 20 ml. Touch-resistant once dry Fresh Scratch should not be touched during the drying phase, as this may create matt patches. Once completely dry, it does not transfer upon contact and becomes smudge-proof. Application Apply Fresh Scratch to the desired area using a stipple sponge, application spatula or suitable SFX tool. Work irregularly for a natural result and vary the thickness and edges of the effect. Allow the product to dry completely and avoid touching it during this stage. For greater dimension, apply Fresh Scratch over a previously created three-dimensional wound structure. Combine the light and dark shades for layered blood and scab effects.
