THANK YOU! NO MORE HAIR DONATION DAY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

In recent years, we have organised the Berlin Hair Donation Day once a year. We are delighted that the topic and the hair donation day have become so well known and that more and more people are donating their cut-off tresses. THANK YOU!

We therefore no longer see any need to continue organising the hair donation day. We receive braids from all over Germany, which we forward to our partners in Dresden and Hamburg.

We are still happy about every hair donation!

• Prerequisite: at least 20 cm hair length
• Real hair wigs and hairpieces as well as already cut braids can be handed in all year round.

Our goal of the hair donation day has been achieved! Because we receive new hair donations every week. We pass on the donated hair directly to wig manufacturers in Hamburg (Königinnen) and Dresden (Capilli). There the hair is made into wigs by hand. Anyone can go there directly if they need a wig.

Human hair wigs enable people with hair loss due to illness or inheritance to feel good again and give them back a bit of normality even in difficult times. "It is important to us to inform and educate people about hair loss and make it more socially acceptable," says Andrea Mayr.

With the donated hair, the wig workshops are able to produce hairpieces or wigs and to refine finished wigs and blanks. In this case, the customer does not have to pay for the material, which is a great help for many of those affected.
